Beginner Needs Advice

Hello all,

I'm thinking about getting a tarantula and have been doing some research on the subject online.

Some places post them out to you, is this advisable or should I find a local shop and pick one out.

Is there anyone who knows a reputable pet shop in the Newcastle or Northumberland area as I'm planning on going to on over the holidays to handle a tarantula to see if I'm nervous or not.

I'm not scared of spiders but I just wan't to make sure before I buy.

Many thanks, Jason
