New trapdoor

Hey, Just got my first trapdoor yesterday and looking for some advice on how to care for it. This is my first pet spider, and I equipped myself with all the gear I need from my local pet store. Any advice is welcome, but my main concern about my trapdoor is that it still has not burrowed and it has been over a day since I have gotten it. Is this normal? thanks.
