You can go with plastic to start off with if you want though. I use aspen bedding for mine and yes, remove mess as you see it but you will need to do a proper clean out and disinfect atleast once a month. Last edited by cat001; 11-10-2009 at 05:43 AM.. |

it is not a good idea to put to snakes in a tank at all breeding time only as one could eat the other and too big a tank can freak them out your best bet is a local pet shop they sell small plastic tanks and can be bought quite cheap best to keep them in here for few months until they get bigger but one rule is never pair them together

Re: please help!!
For young corns I use 5 litre really useful boxes. ( Really Useful Products Ltd - Select country ) You can buy them at Staples or Macro.
They have clip on lids, which mean no escapes, but you do need to make some air holes in with a soldering iron or drill or something. Personally, I am very wary about keeping any snakes together, but hatchlings especially can be cannibalistic, and are best kept seperately. This will also help as if one gets ill, or regurges it's food and they are kept together, you might not know which one it is. If you do keep them together you need to make absolute sure they are fed seperately. Snakes aren't social animals, and whilst they might tolerate each other, they don't enjoy each others company. |
