thank you im going to give that a go next time i feed him ill see if i can get some from my petshop. do you have to defrost them any different than you would a rat. Is the preparation for it the same or do you have to get it ready a different way?

At college, we take them out the freezer before we leave and put them in the freezer. We do the same for rats and mice.

hi snakes can not live on chicks alone so its a short term thing try a gerbil i have been keeping reptiles for 15years and run a reptile shop for 5 of them royals really not a first time snake as they are problem feeders there not like other snakes when they dont want to feed they dont if he still want feed in 3/4 weeks think about hibernatting him for about 8 weeks if you decide this is what you want to do let me know and ill tell you what to do hope this helps good luck Rob
