What snake?
Hi,
Quite a few months back, my dad was clearing our wild garden and he came across a snake, it was around 6cm and it was pure black with a striking white V on its forhead. Could it be a baby adder? I've seen baby adders before but I've never seen them like that, and it went into the water and swam for about 10 minutes around and around the pond, then it dissapeared into the bushes. Was it a baby adder or another snake? It was friendly, wasent aggressive but we didnt pick it up ![]() |

Re: What snake?
It could be but it was much darker, pure black with a silver underside, and it was much more of a V by the forhead (went from its nose to its neck)
