PrincessGingy is on a distinguished road
two female degus shropshire

Please don't hate me I feel so bad about this I have never had to rehome before. As some of you may have noticed I haven't been online for quite some time. This is because I have still been ill since the summer and am still in and out of hospital. It is therefore with great regret that I have come to the conclusion that it is not fair for me to continue caring for my two female degus. You may ask why these two and not my others but my other animals are well tamed and easy to handle o are easy to care for in certain ways. For example my chinchillas answer to basic instructions and will get back on the cage when I tell them so are easier to get out for a run around than the Degus who will not stay in my hands and take several hours to catch. Please don't get me wrong, these two girls will make lovely pets, they have just had a rough start with being in rescue for 2 years and need someone who can spend the time with them that I cannot due to illness. I feel so bad about this because they haven't had a good start but I could not forsee that my illness would become long term. I just want these girls to have what they deserve. They are between 2 and 3 years old and are named Ditzle and Dazzle. I have the basic cage from pets at home, food bowl, dust bath etc, wheel, bed, and toys for them. I can probably transport them up to an hours distance from Shropshire. I would be grateful to try and get about £30 for the cage and stuff if I could just because it's near christmas and I am spending a lot in running around to medical appointments and not working much but my main concern is that these two get the home they finally deserve. I would also like anyone interested to promise me that they will keep me updated on their progres as I am so upset at the prospect of possible saying goodbye. But I have to do what is best for animals and sometimes that means accepting that I cannot provide the best at this moment in time. Please don't hate me!

Re: two female degus shropshire

No one is going to hate you hun, you're making the hard decision to rehome because it's the best thing for the degus, so you have nothing to feel bad about or anything.

I hope a lovely home can be found asap. x
