Hi I have been wanting to get a rat (preferably but don't have the set up) or a hamster or mouse etc. I have a 4ft glass tank (with mess covering for ventilation) that is empty and going to waist. I was offered a robo hamster from the adoption centre at P@H last night and they said that my set up was fine for hamsters, but I thought I'd offer the space to some rescue centre instead of a big pet store chain first.

I've had years of experience with hamsters (syrian and dwarf) and had as many as 4 at one time in different cages.

I have got some cages left over from when I had them which i will eventually dig out and can offer more homes.

I don't mind what breed, how old they are as long as they are tame and well handled. I don't mind taking a group either. The more the merrier!!

I live in Swansea and cant travel too far to get them but if you can deliver that would be great.

However I notice theres a lot of little 'uns up for adoption in Bristol and I will be up in Bristol on 15th November so would be willing to meet and pick them up from there.

Sounds like you're probably more prepared and experienced for a hamster rather than rats lol. I'm sure there's plenty of rescues about, I mean, you only have to check these boards to see there's plenty in need of a home Good luck with your search!
