Milly & Molly eating hay!!!!

Hiya

Milly and Molly are sisters that came from a rescue at 9 weeks old. They are both mini x standard rexes and Molly has sore hocks. But she still enjoys life and these are some pictures taken today of her and Milly.
(Molly's black and white, Milly is brown and white)

< 2 headed rabbit !!!!

They are adorable and lovely markings

Give you a tip on getting rid of the sores, Spray on plaster, spray 2 layers on when you first put it on and then add a layer each day and it will soon clear up My female rex suffers with sores on her hocks, and this helps clear it up, but make sure there is nothing in her hutch that can make the sores bleed as this is very pain full for the poor bunnies

we've had the problem for a whole year now and she's going back and forth to the vets (although she's going through a good patch at the moment and hasn't been to the vets for a month ) to have antibiotics. We put salt water on her hocks once every two days by recommendation from the vet to draw out any injection. That's why she's on thick hay, so it cushions her feet.

Re: Milly & Molly eating hay!!!!

They are beautiful!!!!! I do feel sorry for these rex's with sore hocks, they are so difficult to manage. I know someone who is a real expert on them if you ever need to chat through anything x
