Well, after some good advice on here I went out and kitted the cage out a little bit more, added a few hammocks and a wheel and what-not. Now, you may think the cage looks a little cluttered but the mice seem more confident to come out now that theres these places to hide/climb. Fox is still timid but thats okay, I see her out and about when she thinks I'm not looking
(still haven't coated the shelves yet but will be sure to clean them before I do)

The cage looks amazing, compared to other rodents mice do like lots of things in their cage, my mouse cage looks really cluttered too so yours looks perfect in mousie eyes.
