yeah, we had 5 but jazmin died a little while back

mine were all rescues, but would have loved a big group rather than the 2 pairs and 1 single girl. Are yours all together?

I feel bad.. ive never given mine hay.. will have to do that!

Re: my gerbils :)

aw sorry about Jazmin

yes mine are rescues too, i have a trio of brothers and a single male, im sorry for the lone male tho if someone wanted to try to pair him with another male they can have him, i dont think hes a young gerbil tho, i only got him because he'd been in the p@h adoption section in a tiny tank for months i felt so sorry for him i dont think anyone wanted him because hes an albino plus hes a bit if a biter lol, but i couldnt bare seeing stuck in there week after week with no room and no enrichment..so anyway hes here now

with the hay i just layer it with their substrate nibbling it down to size keeps them busy for ages

my girls came to me when they had been a trio. One day they had a big fight and jazzy got most of her tail damaged and needed some amputated. the people then had her up free to good home and i couldnt resist and ended up with all 3! jazzy was in my daughters room and got so much attention but she was also an escape artist and the amount of times the cat almost got her!

jazzy: such beautiful shades of greys

My boys arrived when i wanted a new setup for the girls and ended up with the boys too.. yep im a sucker!

got the boys at my Ohs and the girls at mine. Going to give them some straw today

thanks
