Re: WOOP!woop! explorer is up!

thank you both it took me 2 days to get right and a few times almost through the window but your right tdm it is well worth it me and the ratties are loving it just need to find some new ways to make the most of the space. ws thinking of removing the big shelves and putting in some corner shelves instead i need somwhere of the ground for them to eat or i could turn the stackabox upside down like a table and mke a hole in the side so itd be a table house ha! ideas please!

thd those are the boys i got from lottie in sheffield they are lovely little fellas so confident around people total squishy bums.and they are loving their new cage was supposed to go in the xl but i part exchanged it for the explorer so they was in a critter 2 for a few days so are now a bit shell shocked at ll the space so gonna put some more bits in to fill it up for now.
iam well chuffed i got a real bargain its like new cant beleive my luck makes a change usually iam not lucky but this week iam got my dream cage and won 40quid on a scratch card today so more money for the ratties yey! woo!

Re: WOOP!woop! explorer is up!

Have you tried tying stools to the roof or putting them the right way up on the floor of the cage? That adds a little bit of space, flexi tubes cable tied to the bars adds another element as does cable tying little baskets to the bars tying hammocks to the underside of the shelf is a good way of making more space too. All that will free up floor space, Ive tried to add some pics to show you but they are a bit rubbish .

Stools - you can put stuff on top of them freeing up floor space.

You can see here the flexi tube on the right, they love running up them and sitting in them and its using wasted space. You might also be able to see the cat scratching thing fastened to the bars, they love sitting on that.

I couldnt find a decent pic of this but its like a small veggie rack and you get them from Wilkinsons for about £2-3.
