Two new additions to the family or three if counting my sister
On Tuesday My little sister came to live with me. She's been getting into a fair bit of trouble and everyone has been turning their backs on her as can't deal with her problems. I agreed to take her in otherwise she would of went into care as she is only 14. Anyway she has two pets and so they have come too. They are so cute. I didn't realise how lovely guinea pigs were.

Good on you taking on your little sister and her two pets also !!!
I wish you all the best of luck with your sister... I remember me at 14 and i wouldn`t of wanted to look after me lol Guinea pigs are adorable !!! Infact I have just snook over to this area as I am considering getting my Daughter either a guinea pig or hamster. After seeing these two, it makes me want to go with the guinea pigs  loving the little cream coloured one

He looks lighter in the picture. he looks more ginger normally. Hes my fave out of the two and he is named Guinea the other one is called streak and a little nervous but ok once hes settled on your lap. My sister has been good since I have had her but because she doesn't want to change schools, it's costing me a fortune in train fares to get her to school and I have been phoning the school each day to make sure she has gone in...Shes allergic to school with attendance rate of 36% this year. She has gone in everyday since I have had her. I told her if she didn't go to school then she wouldn't be able to live here as I can't afford to be fined for her bad attendance and that I am the last family member who will take her and then she would have to go into care. I wouldnt chuck her out though, just scaring her a bit & making her think about it. I find it hard to believe she is so bad. Shes been great. Walking the dogs with me (shes a massive animal lover
) Helping with all the other pets. and offered to carry my heavy bags of shopping and my own three kids haven't argued since she has been here either as she has been entertaining them too. I actually quite like having a teenager in the house to help out

Aw thank you. I'm sure if she is as bad as i'm told then she will start to show her true colours once shes feeling like this is home but I'm going to be strict with her. I think she needs it and my family have been too soft on her letting her get her own way all the time.

set out the boundaries and stay firm but fair.
Tell her exactly why it is important for her to have a good attendance at school... foundations for her future and to ensure she can stay with you. Ask her why she doesn`t like school enough to go and stay, be interested in everything she does/doesnt do... so she always knows she can talk to you about anything, without being judged. I`m sure your already doing this and doing well tho  it is great that she has her passion for the animals too, it helps as a leverage and bribery,if needed lol gone way off the guinea pig topic
