wanted giant and cage

Hello All,

I am looking for a continental giant complete with a hutch, I am open to both a boy or a girl. I have seen my friends conti x lop and he is beautiful, this would be my ideal.

I am up in the north east of England but am willing to travel about 1hour and half to two hours to collect.
We have a large car for transportation.

At home I have a large garden and large house, that the rabbit would be allowed to have the run off.... My friend who lives three doors down also has contis who are very friendly so would have some friends close by for company.
I also have two small rabbits, a cross giant and a mini lop who are lovely and friendly.

I hope someone can help me find my dream rabbit.

Many thanks
Kelly

Re: wanted giant and cage

You will need a minimum of a 6ft by 6ft shed for a giant.

Hutches are far too small.

Good luck on your search

Hi kelly, it would be worth posting this in the rabbit forum as many people who use that dont check else where, ur best bet would be to phone the local rescues in ur area and see if they have any giants, as nonnie said u will be much better off with a shed as a 2 foot deep hutch isnt big enough to turn round in or stand up properly.

Re: wanted giant and cage

Hi kelly, please have a look on Rabbit Rehome - Adopt an unwanted bunny from a rescue centre for any giant buns up for adoption. It is much cheaper adopting a bun than it is buying. You will be getting a fully vaccinated, neutered and completley vet checked bun, for a tiny fraction of the cost.

alternatively, please join Rabbits United Forum - Powered by vBulletin, and we will be more than happy to help you in finding a rescue giant.

bunnies should ALWAYS be kept in pairs or groups, they are social animals and love their own company, so it is always worth thinking about getting your bun a friend. for this, a minimum 6ft shed would be needed, with a minimum space of a 12ft run. Hope this helps

Janak
