Fancy Mice

I am a hobby breeder of fancy mice, usualy brokens (cow print).

At the moment I have available 3 broken black tan (cow print with tan patches on their bellies!) males. They are all brothers and are all living together with their dad at the moment. They were born on the 30th of January 2008 and have no apparent health problems. The rest of this litter have gone to new homes already. Both parents can be seen if requested!

Above mice sold! Please check below for updates!

I also have another litter which is only a couple of weeks old at the moment so will be April before they are ready. 3 girls and 5 boys. The girls are, 1 broken choc and 2 broken blacks. It is possible they will have the tan on their bellies as well. The boys are all broken chocs. Both parents are longhaired so I expect a few longhaireds within the litter.

I also have a couple of mystery babies at the moment which I suspect one to be a silver agouti and one to be a siamese. Their eyes have just opened so will be another 3 weeks or so before they are ready for news homes.

my email address is pure_pink_seduction@hotmail.com and you can email me for pictures of my babies or if you are looking for some in particular I can let you know if I am likely to have any or if I know anyone who does!!

I am NOT a registared show breeder. I breed for the love of mice not for show. My mice are NOT show mice and are bred for pets.

I price my mice at 2 pounds each or three for five pounds. All varieties same price. I dont believe in charging more for females than for males or more for a longhaired or a satin that a smooth coat.

Re: Fancy Mice

Two of these boys now have a home

Not sure which two yet lol. So if anyone takes a fancy to one in particular male mice CAN be kept on their own as they are known to fight if they are used for breeding (although I havent come across it with my three breeding boys ...yet lol) Will have more mice to update when I get back home next weekend (at my mummies house in scotland lol). We will usualy have mice available or I can point you in the direction of someone who has babies if I dont if anyone wants any later on This is a standing ad. You are welcome to email me anytime and check out my set ups before you make up your mind if you wish!

Re: Fancy Mice

There are PEWs, a broken choc boy and a pink eyed silver boy (who is to die for!) um...oh yes there is also a very overmarked broken silver agouti girl...the one in the pic with just two dots on her back and one on her head! She has a white tummy to but I very much doubt she is fox, although she does carry it!

All babies carry :

Fox, Satin, Longhair and Broken!

Re: Fancy Mice

Hi. i'm totally confused which is me most of the time. could you update with the babies you still have for sale. They look lovely - especially the longhairs. I kept mice about 12 years ago but it's prob all completely changed by now. What do you house them in. Are they like rats and have probs with their lungs. Also would you say girls make better pets than boys and do boys smell more? sorry for all questions. Thanks

Re: Fancy Mice

Sorry if I made things confusing! lol

One of the males in the picture above of the black and white trio is still available. The one at the very top. He is my favourite of the litter and the last one left! I have another litter that has 5 boys who are just a few weeks younger and he is living with them at the moment so can home him with one or more of those boys. I also have 4 girls ready (the other half of the litter with the five boys!) and 2 younger girls which wont be ready for a couple of weeks (one of which i think is comming out with longhair!)

I will get some pictures later on tonight and post them for you! Lol

I house mine in vivariums or cages suitable for mice, I dont have any real "cages" for them. More the plastic type ones such as mini dunas for my nursery tanks and crittertrails and stuff. I use dust free wood shavings rather than sawdust as, I havent yet expeirenced, they can occasionaly have problems with their lungs. Although I dont think they are as prone to is as rats are. I use newspaper for my rats but my mice really didnt like it so I switched them back lol.

I think the difference between girls and boys depends on what you are looking for in a pet. Girls are much more active and are so amusing to watch, but I do find males to be more affectionate towards humans. And a bit lazier as well..but I guess thats something to do with the male chromosone! *looks at husband laid on the couch...*

Boys do smell a little worse than girls but so long as they are cleaned out enough it doesnt get to bad! lol.
