Baby degus for adoption

Baby degus, 5 weeks old, 3 boys and 2 girls, very friendly. Located in Kent but would be willing to travel. Must go to a good home.

Re: Baby degus for adoption

I was wondering that too, shouldn't they be 8 weeks old before they are old enough to leave home?
Although i have read 4-6 weeks as long as they're fully weaned.

Re: Baby degus for adoption

Dear Everybody, i'm really sorry for not checking for replys sooner and thankyou very much for the advice, especially on waiting till 9 weeks. I found good eventual homes for 3 and have to keep at least a single girl to keep the mother company as the litter was unplanned AKA Pets at Home. If the degu is still on her own I could travel over to gravesend with a single girl.

Ps spanking tiger thanks again and I really am very sorry for wasting your time, just didn't realise it would have such a quick response. How many degus do you have and did you have any problems keeping cages of different sexes close together in terms of infighting?
