Try ebay, gumtree and preloved for second hand cages. You want to be looking for cages like the Ferplast Jenny, Liberta Abode and Savic Freddy 2 for groups of 2 to 4 rats.

I look at Preloved, Gumtree, Ebay, Vivastreet and Friday-ad every day. The problem is that I don't drive and most cages are "pick-up only".
Still keeping my hopes up, though...
