Also they are all Fancy-rats however they are different coat/ear types. You dont really get reputable breeders breeding for Nakeds though as they don't agree with it. Atleast from what I know. If you are just looking to own them then it would be easier to find them in rescue, or look into double rex's as they tend to go bald apart from some whiskers and fuzz.

Sorry just thought I would say! As fancy rats encompasses them all

I don't think many people on here keep the more exotic species on the list

Ah right! Well I'd only heard of them cropping up accidently in litters as some people dissagree with rats being hairless.

I have to say, how on earth do you find the time and space! I'd be interested in seeing your setups as they must be quite impressive!

ahh no if i advertise animals i will state whether randomer but i always pure breed my animals where i can.

i have horses too. as well as around 40 rabbits 35 guinea pigs ( not counting babies) 130 fancy mice only 20 rats at the moment. 5 zebra mice 2 african pygmy dormice 12 gerbils. all good fun to look after

all are kept in basic housing with plenty of carboard to chew and nesting materials all handled regually to keep them tame.
and rabbits and pigs loads of hay and straw think they eat more then my horses put together HAHA!

Re: various breeders in SE kent???

sorry for late reply. ohh well they aren't utterly spoiled

rabbits/ guinea pigs;
either in a run or hutch basic rabbit mix twice a day hay and straw once a day. cleaned out every 5-7 days vitamin c added to water for 1 week every month. carrots and cabbage given 4 times a week. in the summer all are given grass if not already on it.

mice/rats;
either in glass tanks/ plastic boxes with wire lids or cages fed once a day cabbage/ carrots twice a week have hay and straw 3 times a week and cardboard to chew/nest.

just basic housing and care not loads of toys and treats etc =) as would cost me a fortune with all the animals i have. but all are happy and well looked after
