Re: New hammie website!

firstly where did you get your hamsters from ???

do you know the backround of them (e.g. parents) ?

how old is the female ??

i am a breeder of these dwarfs and also syrians and i should warn you that if you dont have the room for the babies and you dont have people that have reserved at least 6 then ide suggest that you shouldnt breed.

i am not trying to be nasty or even put you off the idea but it may be worth you looking into breeding these animals a bit more before you start a commitment in breeding them

if you'd like any advice/help then i will try my best to help you

Re: New hammie website!

*sigh* I am not trying to be rude in what I am about to write, I am just writing for the hamsters

First of all, please answer all of the questions that zoe has asked, as she breeds her hasmters, and knows everything that you should know before you even consider breeding.

If you don't know they're background and genetics, please don't even consider breeding. The babies can end up with many problems, missing limbs, ect.

Also if you haven't people lined up already, then whats the point of breeding? Yes babies are super cute, but you can't even go by the mother or babies until 2 weeks after, or until their eyes open. If you do, she will eat them in most cases. You must also take the dad away before the babies are even born, as he will mate with the mother again, as soon as the babies are delivered, which stresses the mother out.

If your breeding just to see babies, then go to a pet store or look on the internet for pictures, as your not putting the health of either paretn first.

However, if you know absolutely everything about them, then please ignore what I say, but you probably got them from a pet store, or from a friends unexpected litter, so neither situation is safe
