I would normally agree with you about their attitude being great, but was very disappointed in how they carried on when I went to find out about Pop - as was the person who went with me. Rehoming is their responsibility to any animal if they take it in and it is healthy. It certainly wasn't my intention to make it sound like all SSPCA were the same, just to highlight my experience with this particular branch and their attitude to this little guy. I've worked with the SSPCA before and been dealing with them on and off since I was 10 years old and until now have never had a complaint about them. Hopefully it will never happen again - and Pop doesn't need to be worried as he is being spoilt rotten now :P
I hope that I have cleared up anything that indicated I was referring to the sspca as a whole, again it was just this branch - and thanks for pointing it out as I certainly wouldn't like to think that anyone would think this is standard for all SSPCAs because of my post
