Hamster klingons

Well I was just curious really... but does anyone elses hamsters just cling to the side of the cage when they are awake, waiting to be let out? Sausage has always done it but now Stella does it as well and even Poppet is joining in

It makes me feel bad cos I can't play with them all at once and I sort of have to go to bed at some time lol and they just cling on and stare at me as I turn the light out and shut the door

Am I a bad owner?

lol! thats really sweet! Rilo has taken to sitting ontop of her tube and staring at me until i get her out. But yeah, three out doesnt work. I used to have one out and two in balls though. But not all hamsters like balls, so yeah... Ash doesnt like his ball :/

Re: Hamster klingons

Lol it just makes me feel really bad... either they are really bored in their cages or they just really love me lol I can't tell which! Sometimes I creep in at night to check their cages are closed properly (don't want any of them to end up being Alfie's dinner! ) and hope they don't hear me but as soon as they hear/see me walk past they all climb up their cages and stare at me

Aw! ha ha Sebastian doesn't cling to his cage, but he sits in his wheel and just stares at me. I know the feeling of wanting to take them out, but needing to go to sleep. That's why I bring him out in the morning while he's awake. So don't worry, they'll forgive you with a treat or something.

Sausage keeps monkeybar-ing across the roof of the cage but then sometimes he loses control and ends up hanging by one paw... so I have to open the cage and save him so he doesn't fall lol
