Rats ear is strange

I have 2 rats Noel and Liam.
Liams ear seems to have gone a bit wringly and turning in on itself.
Any ideas? Got a vets appointment on friday but wanted you guys ideas of what could have caused it.

Re: Rats ear is strange

Is he a top eared rat or a dumbo rat?

Re: Rats ear is strange

It may have been bitten or injured and healed wrongly. If there is no sign of inflammation, redness, or scabs then that's the most likely cause.

Re: Rats ear is strange

Posted wrongly earlier, his ear is wrinkly. misspelled.
No sign of injury or scabs and he is top eared. Its like the ear is curling up slowly. Hard to describe. Decided to take Liam in to vets this morning instead of waiting until friday. Thanks for helping me out.
