Has anyone got one of these?

Hey guys,

just browsing uk pet supplies and was wondering if anyones got one of these wheels and if so what are they like? Ive bought the 6.5" silent spinner but people are saying its no good for my syrian. The one on that link is 8.5".

What you think?

Superpet Comfort Wheel, Large 8.5" at UKPetSupplies.com

Yes it looks fine to me although my Syrian uses the Savic one in her hamster heaven, well that's when she can be bothered getting out of bed.

Re: Has anyone got one of these?

Hellooo! The 6.5" wheel is too small for a fully grown syrian...I have a 12inch silent spinner and 12inch wheel a bit like the comfort wheel!

Re: Has anyone got one of these?

I had that wheel... it was ok but very noisy. It didn't squeak but it rumbled a lot and sounded like an earthquake!

I would recommend the wodent wheel, its really quiet and my hamster loves his! There is either an 8 inch one which is around 10 pounds or an 11ish inch one which is a bit more:

Buy Wodent Wheel Senior Small Animal Toys

I have the bigger one which is around 11inches, it fits really well in my hamster heaven and as I said, Sausage loves it! But the 8inch one would be fine for a syrian as well

Re: Has anyone got one of these?

The comfort wheel is the same one I'm getting for my mice!!! And they demand to have one that's big enough for a syrian hamster - they need it for their Spiderman like move to get up to the tank lid and do a wall crawl

Re: Has anyone got one of these?

That's a fine wheel, but personally, I prefer the Wodent Wheel too, virtually silent and a fab size.
