I like carefresh, i only switched from sawdust/shavings to carefresh because I thought my hamster was allergic to the sawdust, but I find it a lot less messy as you don't have dust flying around everywhere

I have always used woodshavings as I've never had a problem with them really. There is something called Megazorb that you can use for small animals too and you can get it from horse food suppliers.

well i use 3 different types as i have long haired hammies, i use shavings for the dwarfs and 3 syrians but then with my two long haired syrians one has hemp and one has natures-best as they have a different type of long hair (one seems softer than the other and everything seems to get matted in his hair)
they are all really good options, ive also used care-fresh which is good but i find that natures-best is simliar and a cheaper option ![]() hope that helps
