Cuddle rats or "Feral" rats?
Hiya
My ratties are what I call feral rats. They are fine around me but would rather go off exploring and don't really like cuddles. I love them this way, as I love watching them explore and interact with each other. I don't know if I'd want very cuddly rats, but being able to handle them is a must for vets and health checks etc. What do you think? Rather have cuddle rats or feral rats?

I'm happy with either explorer rats or cuddly rats
 Luckily I have the best of both worlds because my boys are very cuddly and my girls are happy to be off exploring all the time. I don't prefer one over the other but having both is nice  Peace Akai-Chan

I've got 4 adventure rats, although Bullseye is cuddlier than the others. I'm hoping to get a colony of boys when I refurbish the big cage so that I can have cuddles.

i have 2 rats - Moet is really cuddly and curls up asleep on me, and Chandon can be very lively (but like all boys does like a cuddle)

One of mine is an explorer, the other one just likes dark places and likes to sit under the bed cover, but niether of them like cuddles. I want more but I'm gonna wait till my hammys are gone, then get more rats.
