Re: new guinea pigs rosie & sally

They are both beautiful. I hope you have sexed them right and they are both sows cos there could be some mini-pigs bounding around in 75days, lol!!
Rosie looks like she is a Dutch cross and Sally is a Tortoiseshell and White.
Yummy!!

Re: new guinea pigs rosie & sally

I posted these on another post here, might help...

This is a boar...

Press down where the arrow is pointing a willy should pop out.

If NOT its a sow...

The arrow on this one is where you can feel the pelvis open before she is due to give birth.

If the boar is over 6mths old he sould have a good size pair of testicals on him too!

Re: new guinea pigs rosie & sally

Well rosie is definatly a girl but still not sure about sally. She is still only little when you press on her nothing really pops out but still not sure. Not seen any sign of them mating or anything will just have to wait and see when she gets a bit bigger. If not looks like i will be buying another cage as kids have already decided if there has been a mistake we will be keeping the babies so could end up with alot of guinea pigs. Or i could rehome them to my brother and sister in law as they both love guinea pigs
