chinchilla

I have done lots of reading on chinchillas but am not sure on whether they should be kept in pairs or singular if we want them to be tame.

i seem to get mixed responses.

we are going to look at a baby tomorrow who isn't ready till october but he is being sold on his own.

any help will be greatly appreciated as we do not want to stuff this up.

Re: chinchilla

There is a chinchilla section I believe, if you post this in there you should get more response!

I think they're sociable creatures so keeping one on its own would be mean, but I'm not an expert. If you ask the breeder of the baby they should be able to tell you

Peace
