It looks great, and the ventilation will be fine, no worries! You are m aking me want a bin cage so badly, but I'd be pants at the meshing bit. Your dad did really well with it!

I think my dad said he pot riveted it... if you know what that is lol!

But it basically means that on the inside of the cage the bits of nail/screw/whatever are very flat against the cage and there aren't massive bits sticking out that Sausage can chew

I would be pants at doing all of it lol so I'm glad he did it for me!!!

They make quite good cages. ALso really easy to clean. I have Chip in one and Kissifur and Mintola share another one as I couldn't fit in any more tanks in my bedroom (have three fish tanks, a tank of mice, two bin cages, two other cagess and need two more - cat also stays in my room. Sounds like you need an extension!! I'm looking forward to using my bin cage, it won't be that easy to clean though as I have to clean the 2 cages as well so it might take a while... it's worth it though
