oh gosh !

how did she die ?/??

you are going to have a very hard time trying to hand rearer these, they will need feeding around every hour with lactol milk, you will need to stimulate them to wee and poo every time they have eaten and with 8 on your hands you are pretty much not going to get any sleep what so ever

Re: dead mouse HELP !!!!!!

very unlikly unless she is lactating and possibly has already got babies, but its more likely that she will kill them as they wont smell of her or the litter she has (if she has babies that is)

Re: dead mouse HELP !!!!!!

Hand rearing the whole litter wont be easy, and it's a lot of responsibility to take on, But it's really rewarding when hand reared babies survive. If you have another mother mouse, you can try to put the abandoned babies with her litter, but first rub them gently in the nest material so the scent of her babies will go onto them. This is risky though, as the mother can abandon all of the babies or she may not nurse the newer ones. If you do take on hand rearing them all, you will need to feed them every 1-2 hours, night and day, with either lactol milk or diluted puppy formula. They need to be stimulated after every feeding also. You also will need to put them on a heat pad(on low) and make sure that they are kept warm, but not too warm.

I hope this helps, and best of luck to you xx
If you do decide to hand rear them, I'll be here to answer any questions.
