Re: Looking for female syrians
hi there have u tried ur local pets at home store, they do an adoption scheme where they have hamsters that people have handed in, and u can have them for free or for a small donation. i went in to mine yesterday, for a syrian hamster, i paid £8 for mine, but they had lots of dwarf hamsters for free. as i said your local one may have female syrians, as unwanted litters or untamed adults are often handed in.

Re: Looking for female syrians
I don't think pets at home would let you have hamsters for breeding from the adoption bit, thats probably why they are there in the first place.
They won't encourage you to start breeding, possibly unwanted litters.

Re: Looking for female syrians
Do not breed from a hamster without at least a 3 generation history. So for that reason, P@H shouldn't be an option.
There are 2 breeders in kent - Welcome to the British Hamster Association Web Site |
