I have been hinting for days now to my o/h about how 'Honey' our Syrian needs a bigger cage cos she isn't very active in the Rotastak one that she's in and I feel sorry for her because she never seems to wake up till very late and its too late to get her out then so I want a cage where she has lots to do and she isn't bored. I texted him this morning and asked if we could go to pets at home tonight and get it and he said 'yes'.

Yay!!! They look absolutely amazing!! I'm jealous!!!!

Well I told him i had saved him £30 on that guinea pig cage I ordered last week and which took a week to arrive and arrived broken so they have refunded me the money. Can't wait to see her in it - will take pictures.

Just hope our local pets at home have got some in stock.

This is my Nero 2 which the baby guinea pig is living in till she is old enough to live with our other female piggies and it's around the same size as the Hamster heaven so she will have loads of room.



Wonder why the Nero 2's are around £35 though and the hamster heaven's are nearly £80 when they are the same size?

Check the bar spacings, you might find the hamster one has smaller gaps so they can't escape, hence the higher price.

Yes the bar spacings on the Nero are definitely no good for hamsters but just a few more bars shouldn't make that difference in price should it?

Honey is going to go mad, they are fantastic cages. A friend of mine bought one from P@H and ummed and aaahed and said its a bit expensive and the wheel isn't the best and they gave her a free silent spinner to go in it, worth a try if you feel cheeky enough.

Ooh that was good wasn't it? I bought one of those the other week though and it's too high to go in her current cage so I'm going to put it in the new cage. A pity they can't give those starter packs with them like they do with the rabbit and guinea pig cages isn't it.

You will have to put it quite high up in the hamster heaven cos the base sticks out slightly, I just put a toy underneath it for Buffy to climb into and Angel has her wodent wheel on a stand.
