Guinea pigs not going down

Hi I have a two story hutch for my guinea pigs, almost identical to the one they were in at the breeders, but they won't use the bottom I have put them on the ramp and know they can get up nd down they just won't. I even tried to entice them with food putting little bits all the way up, the little toads were standing on the floor and streatching to get to it lol. Any suggestion xx lisa xx

Re: Guinea pigs not going down

have you tried putting the food and water down there?

sooner or later they are going to get hungry/thirsty and will have to go down to the bottom bit then to get their foor

Re: Guinea pigs not going down

They have acute senses, they would be able to find their food and they won't starve!!

Put them on the bottom...they will have to go up the ramp and realise it isn't all that bad!
