Hamsters from petshops

Do hamsters from pet shops live up to the ages of 2/3? Are they happy and healthy?

Re: Hamsters from petshops

My oldest hamster is 3 1/2 and she came from a pet shop, my youngest is an adopted hamster from pets at home, they will both always have the best care, good food, clean cage, plenty to stimulate their minds and bodies so I hope they will live long happy lives.

Re: Hamsters from petshops

Ella and Maisie are nearly 5 months old now and they are still going strong! Misty is only about 8-10 weeks old so I don't know how long she will live to but I hope its a while!
