Fat Hamster

I went to see my little sis today and was quite shocked at how huge her hamster was,she even had fat feet, lol. The cage was full of food and treats, enough to feed about 3. I asked herto cut down a bit but she's adiment that her hamster needs all that food. Surely this can't be healthy??Am I overreacting???

Re: Fat Hamster

hamsters as a rule shouldn't have so many treats in 1 day. From what you've said, it does sound like the hamster is overweight. Does your sister realise that feeding too much food and treats can be classed as cruelty?
