Gerbils and wheels.

I'm Sure it was Marcia that said they don't need one but I'm not sure I can't remember. I'm getting a new tank on sunday 2ft one because thats the biggest I could get to fit on my desk. But the wheel I have is rotastak and they don't even use it anyway they just pee in it.
Should I buy them a silent spinner or should I not bother? They don't use their wheel at all and I don't want to waist £14 on a big silent spinner for them and then they never use it. I do have to get one for Narla this week so I might try them with hers.
What would you do?

Re: Gerbils and wheels.

Gerbils don't need wheels but thats not to say that you can't give them 1

We have 1 large silent spinner which we take in turns giving to our gerbils, some use it and others won't

Re: Gerbils and wheels.

getting them one isn't a problem I'd just rather not spend the money if they arn't going to use it.. I think I'll try them with the one I get for Narla and see if they use it. If they do then I'll buy them one for themself.
