i want to introduce ababy male with agrown male

the baby will be his off spring and ive been told he may not attack his young , but he anit been in cage with them, so im a little confused as ppl say in can be done as he my know its his young pup, is this true as the male needs a companion, i dont want any mice to get hurt so im just checking, mybe if i introduce him slowly it will work any ideas pls

I don't see why you couldn't successfully introduce them. Just take it slow and over neutral territory

You would do it the same as you would with any other rodent intoduction. I desent mine and put them in a nuetral cage together where they haven't got anything to get teretorial over. You scatter food all around the cage and only have a water bottle in there and food. Then after 2 weeks if all is well you introduce 2 of everything slowly into the cage. It can go pair shapped later though and I ended up having to seperate the one I introduced because she was bullying the babies.

Be very careful as adult male mice are usually kept on their own, once the baby reaches sexual maturity they might start fighting, hope they don't though fingers crossed for you.
