My mouse recently just gave birth about three days ago. She seems to be an excellent mother and i have been feeding her a high diet of protein. There are squeeks coming from the nest box so i know the babies are alive. Today, though there was some mashed up looking pink stuff...almost like a small pink cake on the floor of the cage. And, i noticed some (i didn't really before) on the spot where she gave birth.

What could this 'pink stuff' be. I hope it's not chewed up mice!!!!
