Re: Hamster Bargains

I can't really spend over 10-12 pounds so I have a budget (^^)

Thank you for that!

We have a Savic metro for one of the other Robos and he gets up one vertical alright, but he wouldn't get up two I don't think...

The main cage is a perfecto with three levels, which does get a bit annoying for toy placement and cleaning it out because its so bulky but it looks so nice! (^^)

I've got him some toys already too which would suit a tank but it doesn't really matter as long as he gets a home!

Re: Hamster Bargains

I don't know much about the metro...but the fop cages all appear to have grooves on the inside of the tubes so it makes it really easy for hammies to climb...my robos are only 8 weeks old and they manage it!!

Re: Hamster Bargains

Some of them cages are in my watch list now! Maisie needs a bigger one cos the other 2 have huge cages! Need a silent wheel.... Benny just doesn't stop running, I think I have an anorexic hamster, LOL.

What annoys me when people put cages up for sale on Ebay is they don't tell of dimensions... I think its pretty useful and would easily help to sell your item better, and it annoys me because its a vital piece of info that anyone searching would need to know!

This is very true....however it is often much easier to get a bargain if they mess up...

For instance, people who cannot spell really make me laugh...

They put hampster, hamser, hamter etc and so I search for these mis-spellings when other people don't and often get some good deals.

In my first year of uni, I wanted a laptop so I searched HP Pavilion (the make of the laptop I wanted) but I spelled it wrong and got 1 hit on ebay. I got a brand new laptop for £200...it was £649.99 in PC World at the time!! The guy selling it had spelled it wrong so when people were searching, they were not coming across it...I was the only bidder!!

I WAS CHUFFED!!

Re: Hamster Bargains

People spelling stuff wrong drives me insane! LOL

I have done that before when I bought my computer, it was in the cases section rather than base units and I got it for £60 and t was reasonably good, but have done bits on it. Its good when you can do stuff yourself because it cost you so much less! I laugh at people going to PC world and places like that and paying over the odds!

I have tried putting hampster in and stuff like that to see what bargains are on there but nothing has tickled my fancy!

I bought a Fop cage with tubes and house on Ebay and I thought that they were quite expensive, I got mine for £20 and there was nothing about Fop in the advert so think got myself a bit of a bargain there!

Re: Hamster Bargains

Happened to me with my Gabber Rex, don't think the person knew what type of cage it was, think it was described as "like zoozone". So got it for £20
