The bigger the better! I was told at least 45cmx30cmx60cm for a Syrian. Hamsters are fine with used cages as long as its all in order and clean for them.

The Savic Cambridge is 60cm. I have it for my special Ches!! hehe.
Its a great cage...£49.99 in p@h tho! I got mine for £20 including large wheel, house etc etc... Have a look on ebay...
