Sleeping Lots...

My Russian Hammie, Max, seems to sleep alot.

More than all of my other hamsters...and I think he is getting fat due to lack of exercise.

Normally, I get all the hamsters out in their balls together for about 30 minutes in the evening. Some of this time, Max will spend running, some of it, he will sit and go to sleep.

Does anyone have any advice on getting him to be a little more active?

Thanks
Cheryl

Re: Sleeping Lots...

it's still technically winter, he might just be in hibernating mode still. remember all furries have different personalities and needs, he might just be a lazy git

I wouldnt' try to get him to be more active as he will become grumpy and more inclined to bite you.

leave him too it, if he doesn't improve in a few weeks (if it's warmer) then take him to the vets for a check up.
