I have two guinea pigs called jasper and coco, and they live indoors with us. I am looking to get them a two tier hutch for outside as they are growing quite big now, and look big for their cage even tho it is the right size for 2.

Do you think they will adapt to living outside ok? i mean mainly with regards to the weather, having been in the warm, and then put outside in the cold//rain and whatever else english weather brings lol?

What do you think?

Have found from experience that ny guinea pigs tended to only use one floor of a double decker they seemed to prefere a longer cage with more lenght . Mine use to be out side and wed cover them with tarrapallin to keep them dry and a bit warmer but as times gone on i cant bare them out in the winter they dont cope well like bunnys do with out shelter. Be it a shed, green house ,or out house, Even with huge amounts of hay. Guinea pigs can suffer on there toes if weather is extreme. They dont like cold damp weather either.
