Are there any Degu owners out there ?

I haven"t seen,heard or found anything Degu related on here yet

there must be some proud Goo owners somewhere ?

I don't own any, but there's loads at my college

I dont own any but have dealt with them, pets at home sell them they are related to Chinchillas? and they get called the poor mans chinchilla arnt they.

my doughter has a degu she had 2 but lost one

Yes they are related to Chinchillas and Gerbils

i haven"t heared they are poor man"s chinchillas though but it kind of makes sense ! i have 8 Chinchilla"s anyway!

their diets are completely different Degu"s can"t have anything sugary as they can get Diabetes very easily which causes no end of problems.

Yea, I feed mine Xtra Vital degu food and vitakraft Emotion Beauty degu food lots of hay and J .R farm dried leaves..

and the occasional peanut in a shell they love them !

i"ll find some piccy"s and put them up
