went to the cage to get my gerbills out and found Star laying at the bottom of the cage they are 3 and a half now so I knew it was coming but it was a shock none the less, I feel sorry for Crystal who is Stars sister as she is now alone in her cage and never has been

I'm not looking forward to telling the kids, I know how upset they will be

we had one live until 5ish that was bounce he never liked being in the cage just like sitting on your hand.

ours are the same as yours was Carol as soon as we go near the cage they want to come out, poor little thing, got to tell the kids now my eldest has been told hes upset now too, but understands, but havent told the younger ones yet

Ahh, sorry to hear that vixie. Its horrible having to tell kids things like that.
