Re: how long is labor in a mouse

If she's been straining for more than 2 hours with no baby born then it's time for the vet, she needs oxytocin or pituitrin. If the contractions stop altogether it's the same thing. I had this happen to a gerbil once. The whole litter was stillborn but the mother lived, which was all I cared about at that stage. I hope your mousie will be ok!

I hope your little mouse is doing better, mice are surprisingly delicate little things its not worth the risk waiting any longer. Hope everything works out ok
