Re: My poorly Mouse Zim.

righty, I will see how he is in the morning after the dark chocolate and dried pasta. He loooooved that, Loving all the attention he's getting.
He actually went on his wheel after I gave him scrambled eggs and had a massive drink
I will give my local Vet a ring and see if they can give me a estimate.

Thanks everyone

Re: My poorly Mouse Zim.

I can only echo what everyone else has said, he urgently needs baytril if he is clicking really loudly and hardly eating or drinking. Mice can go downhill and past the point of recovery very quickly so the sooner you can get him to the vet the better the chance he has. If your vet will let you maybe you could pay them up weekly or monthly just to ensure that Zim gets the medicine he needs.

Re: My poorly Mouse Zim.

Just to post a update.
Zim is getting back to normal, The clicking is happening less and less, he seems more active, especially since he got a treat bar hung in his cage, He is woolfing scrambled eggs and dried pasta... not a fan of the dark chocolate.
I am keeping a close eye on him, I have registered him with the pdsa and will be taking him on monday, that was the earliest I could get in with him!

So yeah hes on the mend.

Re: My poorly Mouse Zim.

That's good news but just remember rodents are very good at hiding illness so be careful as they tend to go down hill over night.

I'd still get him some Baytril on Monday.
