I've been lurking. My hammy Mr Chip is not very well so i've been looking after him mostly, he's laying on me at the moment, its not looking good...

It's age related. He's 3 and a half and has slowed down a lot the last few weeks, i'm trying to keep him comfortable and i'm trying to make sure I am there with him pretty much all of the time. I'd hate for him to pass alone. He's not in pain I don't think and if he shows signs of pain then i'll take him to the vet but for now i'm just focusing on him.

3 and a half is a fantastic age, I hope hes got many months left but if that isnt to be I hope he goes easily for both of you (((hugs)))

Thanks for the hugs hun, he has been such a fab little fella it'll be sad when he goes but I am grateful for the time I have had with him.

Back on topic...How big is that tank of yours? It looks huge even though it's split! (sorry if you've mentioned the size somewhere )

Its about 4.5ft, so theyre getting just over 2ft each.
