Re: Hospital

Hi everyone

Thank you so much for the messages! They really are lovely! I'm pleased to say that I am home and didn't need a second operation. They check my hand this morning and there was no puss do they said I was fine. I'm very sore and tired but am very happy to be home! The first thing I did when I got home was see the rats and cuddle Louie. I was worried about seeing Chico first cos the fact I've had to go into hospital but my heart just melted when I saw his little bald face. I've touched him which is a good start. I'm nervous around him but I'll get there. I can't blame him he's an animal at the end of the day and I have no idea what signal I gave or even if I'd actually hurt him which made him bite as he might have been sore from his respiratory infection. I have decided that Im no longer gonna hold or pick them up but offer my hand for them to walk onto if they feel like being in my hand. They can get in and out of their cage themselves and if they don't want my hand on them they can be transported by standing on my shoulder. They are more than welcome to climb on me and cuddle with me but I'm just gonna let them do what they feel comfortable with but they are staying here no matter what!!
