Help needed for these two rattie Boys 5-6 weeks old

I took two baby rats in yesterday from a bad situation they need feeding up I guess there around 5-6 weeks old.
Friendly boys quite wriggly when held but settle down after.
Very curious boys that have been starfishing at the bars.

They are both black hoodeds but one has a White blaze Mark on his head, he's not a husky so won't roan out.

I would love to keep them here with me but I just haven't the room or cage space. There currently being kept in my clean out cage which is a 60cm hamster cage.

Is there anyone that could home these beauties?
I'm in Derbyshire.

Re: Help needed for these two rattie Boys 5-6 weeks old

This isnt fair, I want them soooooooooooooooooo much but Ive promised myself that I wont have any more rats when my current mischief are at the bridge. Well done for having such a huge heart though. Have you been tempted to extend your explorer and keep them?

Re: Help needed for these two rattie Boys 5-6 weeks old

I havent the ceiling space or floor space to do so.
I'd love to keep them but I just don't have the space for another cage.

They are such sweet boys tdm, there both huddled together in a kiddies hat I bought it's one with the ears and long tassel strings I chopped the tassels off and use it for when I had my other baby rats but they grew out of it.
But they love it.
Poking there cute ickle faces out looking at me.

They've had scrambled egg and kale this morning.
I still have some lactol left so will buy another mouse bottle and give them some tomorrow.

Re: Help needed for these two rattie Boys 5-6 weeks old

Well my oh has said a big fat NO, not that I asked of course apparently he will go for a neutered boy for when Ive only got one girl left but he sees how upset I get when I loose one so getting more babies would just be starting the whole cycle over again . I hope you find them a fantastic home though, youre an angel for taking them in.

They are gorgeous! I have the space, time and room, but sadly do not drive, what a shame!

Re: Help needed for these two rattie Boys 5-6 weeks old

Oh tdm that's a shame but I understand.
They were from a family where the child had got bored already!
They were kept in a tank with no food and a dish full of shavings!
They told me they had them off preloved and that they were advised to keep them in a tank just like there parents!!
Possible feeder breeder??

Anyway I took them probably shouldn't have seeing as I didn't really have a suitable cage but then again they are in a much better on atm.I just couldn't leave them seeing them like that.
I suspect they were sold to them at 4 weeks old ad they are teeny.still have baby fur and short little bodies.

They really are lovely Boys, that are tugging at the heart strings!
