I finally have them here

Long story short. Horrible live feeder man was giving away mice, 2 female, 1 male all kept together. He wouldnt let me have them unless i paid him (ive had rats from him before for free). Purple tried to get them but he was being awkward and kept changing the collection day. He put them back up for free so i asked again to have them and he let me. Took a while but i finally have them . More confusingly i think they are all girls but it would explain why they arent having babies for him anymore. (By that i mean i think he sadly used the male for food by mistake).

This is the disgusting state they came in

Im not sure why one of them looks so porky there, i think it was just a bad angle

They are some lucky lucky mice and ive been informed that they will be going to live in a hamster heaven after xmas

Thank you Kim for putting up with idiot guy and saving these little ones.
I cant believe that's what he was keeping them in It looks worse that I had imagined it, no toys or anything....not even any bedding, that's awful.
Well I am going to make it up to these little ones now and they'll have no much space (yep they will be getting a HH in january) and new toys they wont know what to do with themselves!

They are so gorgeous, I've always wanted some mice that aren't just one colour (mine are plain black, plain brown and plain white)

Im glad they are out of that awful place. That horrible little breeding cage was disgusting, it was filthy and when i took the top off it was all rusty underneath . They are in a far better condition than i first thought. One of them didnt open her eyes for ages and all 3 hardly moved. But now they are running around making a mega nest. When i put a loo roll tube in it was so funny, one of them gave it a push and ran off when it moved, then went back to touch it and ran away again

How can anyone keep an animal like that? If your going to use them for feeders at least give them a cracking life before (personally not something i could ever do!)

Oh that last part about the tube nearly made me cry!
It's like they've never had toys or anything their whole lives and dont even know what a tube is, that's so sad
I dont think it will take long for them to come out of their shells though, hopefully anwyay...they seem to be doing great so far.
