I Love You, But......
Dear Bert and Ernie,
I love you millions. I love the little rattie kisses, I love that you get excited when I walk in the room. BUT...... I'm really not fond of the way you poo on your shelf, then wee on your poo and then stand in it and squish it ALL over everything. It really isn't an attractive habit  (what do your little furries do that you wish they wouldn't?)

My girls do that too! it is irritating.
Annie is a vile thing, she has some very annoying habits. She buries her food in the litter tray, which results in the litter being kicked all over the floor. Then because she's got her food in the tray, she climbs up the bars to poo so it falls out of the cage. I just keep the hoover next to their cage now!

Ha ha. I'm so glad I'm not the only one suffering mushed poo
Last night Bert distracted me being all cute and Ernie ran off with my crisp packet. If managed to sneak a crisp out of it but he shared it with Bert. Was very sweet so no chance of me being mad at the crisps all over the floor!

i have squished poop aswell
the fact the drink like 400mls of water/dr squiggles every night lol and leave the plain water  the fact that megatron is the biggest and squishy rat boy outside the cage but inside if you pick him up he squeaks like your killing him! they all kick out all the substrate  little monkeys!that they seem to have taken to chewing hammocks not sure who it is in the boys but its tinker in the girls (shes also a bar chewer the only one out of 19 rats, think she has ADHD she like never sleeps or stops is always on the go!)

Haha it's nice to know that i'm not the only 1 with furbabies with bad habits.
Dear piggies, I do not appreciate it when you bomb up my chest just to take a nice big munch out of my hair. If i wanted a new style i would go to the hairdressers. Thankyou.

My rattie boys (well Locke more than Hurley) has a bad habbit of chewing up their hammocks too. The first hammock I ever got them was the green ones with the black material straps.. that lasted a week. Now they one with with chain hangers and, fingers crossed, they haven't chewed up the inside yet.... yet

mine have figured out that hay doesnt absorb as well as their aspen so have all now decided to pee on the hay section of their cages alone then have a nice drag of their bodies through it, the babies have also started peeing in their house all over the hay again and of course the house having ventilation holes has leaked all over their shelves which they all insist on sleeping together in
so what turned out to be another substrate for variety has now become a stinky soggy mess to clean out each week  theyre lucky i love them enough to put up with it!
