ham/mouse food?

My mouse and hamster are hugely selective when it comes to food, and I am concerned they aren't eating a balanced diet.

I am thinking of switching ham onto hamster pellets. can the mouse eat these too? I just want to make sure they are eating well.

If they leave any bits, I leave it in an extra night to try to get them to eat it but I think they'd rather starve! x

Re: ham/mouse food?

Hamsters and mice cant really eat the same food as they have different dietary requirements.
For my hamsters I've found that I have to add extras or mix 2 foods together for them to be interested.
Right now they get harry hamster, a mix from the local pet shop plus some kallo puffed rice and bird seed put in.

My mice get one of the ready made mixes from rat-rations. Plus millet bits and mealworms added.
